Teen Book Club

Monday, October 20
7-8 p.m.
Conference Room

Come read, eat and discuss books with other teen readers. We meet the third Monday of each month (except in summer, when we meet the third Tuesday of the month) to discuss a new book. This book club is open to grades 8-12.

October 20: Eighth Grade Bites: The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod by Heather Brewer

November 17: Alosha by Christopher Pike

December 15: Rules of the Road by Joan Bauer

Teen Video Game Night

Monday, October 6
6-8 p.m.
Storytime Room

Game time with XBOX 360, PS3, and Wii including Rock Band and Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Feel free to bring your own games, rated T and below. Snacks and drinks will be served.

Video game night is the first Monday of the month.

Monday, October 13 Appetizer: Movie Night
6 p.m., Community Room Kick off Teen Read Week with a toothy flick. Snacks and drinks will be provided. We'll also have a drawing for a free "Book With Bite."
   
Tuesday, October 14 Main Course: Iron Chef Teen
6:30-8 p.m., Community Room Celebrate Teen Read Week and Books With Bite with something else you can sink your teeth into. It’s time again to put your creativity and love of food to work in creating dishes to tantalize and satisfy. Teams will compete to assemble dishes from the provided ingredients. No cooking will be required. After the competition, we’ll feast upon the results!


Join Teen Board

vSponsor and coordinate various community service and Library projects
vHang out with friends
vSnacks and drinks!
vGet volunteer hours for school
vMeets every second Tuesday, except during special events (call for details)

Our next meeting will be Tuesday, October 28 from 7-8 in the Conference Room.
